Capacity & Demand Management

Apricone helps you plan for unpredictable demand and matches you with the right talent to ensure successful project completion. Our capacity management team oversees which resources are designated for which projects. This enables us to re-deploy our contingents after their contracts are up. 

In addition, Apricone works with portfolio/project managers to manage the capacity of our contingents. Based on this knowledge, we update the operations team with our contingents’ upcoming availability and capacity to initiate future assignments. 

Screening Process

We do all the legwork and deliver qualified candidates right to your doorstep. When it comes to staffing and retaining sought-after talent, our hiring process is fast and efficient.

For all contingent hiring, we designate a sourcing and capacity manager to run point on everything from initial project requirement with portfolio managers and project stakeholders to a new hire’s first day on the job. This includes tactical requirement management—cloud-based vendor management systems, interview scheduling, candidate feedback, offer extensions and more. In 48 hours or less, Apricone presents our top two candidates.

Contingent Onboarding & Offboarding

After a candidate is identified to hire, our onboarding coordinator guides them through each step of the onboarding process. This enables contingents to hit the ground running and helps foster an immediate sense of community and support. Prior to a contingent’s start date, Apricone assigns them peer advisors and set up one-on-one meetings with stakeholders to proactively address any issues and keep everyone on the same page.  

And when a contingent’s assignment is completed, we assist in determining whether the job responsibilities require a new resource to be assigned. If so, we work through the sourcing process accordingly. We gather final performance feedback from project stakeholders and help the contingent worker transition smoothly to their next role. 

Performance Management

Completing a project on time and on budget comes down to maximizing your retention and optimizing your output. You need to identify issues before they evolve and slow down your process. To keep things running at a high level, Apricone follows up with portfolio managers to get survey responses that document and track contingent performance. In addition, we collaborate with portfolio managers and operations to resolve over-allocation of resources and resolve any performance issues.
